Important Information before using your new account

Since May 2023, Steam has implemented stringent measures to prevent users from using accounts that belong to a different country than their original one. As a result, Steam is automatically changing the region of some accounts. To avoid this automatic change, we highly recommend using a reliable proxy from the country where your new account is based, such as a proxy from Argentina. Please refrain from using a VPN as Steam can easily detect them, rendering them ineffective. For more details on this matter, you can refer to our blog post, and you can obtain our Proxy for Steam through this link.

It’s essential to take this warning seriously, as it applies to all regional accounts, regardless of whether you acquired them from someone else or created them yourself. The use of a proxy is crucial to safeguarding your account from region changes. To gather more information on this topic, please refer to our blog post available at the provided link. If you choose to ignore this warning and your account undergoes a region change, regrettably, we will be unable to provide assistance.

Can I link (Family Library Sharing) my original Steam account with the Argentina Steam Account?
Yes. If you already have an existing account, you can link it with the Argentina Steam account. However, some developers disable Family Sharing so unless this has been deactivated you will be able to share most of your games.

How to deposit funds in the Account?
Unless you have an Argentine Credit/Debit card the only way to deposit funds to your account will be by using Steam Wallet Gift Cards.

At Gamestriker we have a service with which you can add funds to your Steam Wallet for lower prices than traditional Steam Gift Cards Keys. If you want to buy ARS from us click here.

You cannot top-up using PayPal or foreign credit/debit cards.

What is this?
This is an already-made Steam account with Argentinian currency. You can get cheaper games in Argentina region. Please keep in mind that unless you have an Argentinan debit or credit card the only way to buy games will then be by redeeming ARS wallet codes.

What will I receive after purchase?
Steam Account Username, Steam Account Password, Rambler Email, and Rambler Email Password

About Steam

Steam is a video game digital distribution service and storefront by Valve. It was launched as a software client in September 2003 as a way for Valve to provide automatic updates for their games, and expanded to distributing and offering third-party game publishers’ titles in late 2005. Steam offers various features, like digital rights management (DRM), game server matchmaking and anti-cheat measures, and social networking and game streaming services. It provides the user with automatic game updating, saved game cloud synchronization, and community features such as friends messaging, in-game chat and a community market.

Valve released a freely available application programming interface (API) called Steamworks in 2008, which developers can use to integrate Steam’s functions into their products, including in-game achievements, microtransactions, and user-created content support. Initially developed for Microsoft Windows operating systems, it was released for macOS in 2010 and Linux in 2012. Mobile apps to access online Steam features were first released for iOS and Android in 2012. The platform also offers other digital content and Valve gaming hardware, including productivity software, game soundtracks, videos and VR headset Valve Index.

The Steam platform is the largest digital distribution platform for PC gaming, estimated around 75% of the market share in 2013 according to IHS Screen Digest.[2] By 2017, users purchasing games through Steam totaled approximately US$4.3 billion, representing at least 18% of global PC game sales according to Steam Spy.[3] By 2019, the service had over 34,000 games with over 95 million monthly active users. The success of Steam has led to the development of the Steam Machine platform in 2015, which includes the SteamOS operating system and Steam Controller, Steam Link devices for local game streaming, and handheld PC Steam Deck tailored for running Steam games in 2022.
